Jacob, Meier claims that a man called Rashid was with him when he discovered the tomb and subsequently translated the scrolls. Rashid allegedly disappears in a refugee camp with the scrolls being lost or captured by Israelies who attacked the camp. This basically means there’s no physical evidence and the one person who could testify for the genuineness of the Talmud Jmmanuel is conveniently gone. Allegedly there’s a picture of Rashid but of course there’s no corroboration. This simply means we have to take Meier’s word for it which some people seem to do. I don’t. After researching many aspects of the Meier case I think the highest probability here is that none of this story is true. It’s all invented by Meier in order to create a new religion with himself as the spiritual authority.
P.S.
On a sidenote, if the discovery of the TJ is true do you realize that Meier is guilty of graverobbery? Another item on Meier’s criminal record. You do know that Meier spend years in jail right? After breaking out of a Swiss jail and deserting from the French Foreign Legion he had warrents for his arrest in France and Switzerland. No one should take Meier’s word at face value!
