Owen, if that is your real name although I get the impression one person on this forum is using many aliases. For me it simply revolves around the following. Having looked into contactee cases I noticed that some contactee cases are backed up by eyewitnesses, photographs or films that were investigated and authenticated by experts in those fields. A lot of testimony can even be found on YouTube. Writers such as Timothy Good and Bill Hamilton also took it upon themselves to interview contactees and eyewitnesses and report their findings in their books. Not many Billy Meier supporters seem to know this but before Meier there’s a whole different ‘chapter’ in ufology.
Now, what happens in Meier’s contact reports? Practically all of the high profile contactee cases prior or during the Meier era get debunked, downplayed or dismissed. Meier claims others used models and wires. 😉 He even went as far as claiming eyewitnesses in other cases were seeing things that weren’t there because they were under some kind of hypnotic suggestion. This is complete B.S. This website shows that it was Meier who tried to con people in a serie of photographs into believing that a beamship was over their heads! Talk about psychological projection Owen..
Nonetheless, isn’t an eyewitness an eyewitness? I can accept an honest eyewitness report in the Meier case or in any other case. It brings us closer to finding the truth in the UFO phenomenon. I brought this up years ago on the FIGU forum and you know what happened? People like Michael Horn simply couldn’t objectively analize or accept other contactee cases besides Meier’s. Suddenly an eyewitness report, photograph or film authenticated by experts wasn’t good enough. Why? Meier claimed otherwise and he’s the authority in their minds while he blinds their hypocrisy and obliterates their objective intellect. That’s what happens with fanatical idolization, Owen…
