BACKGROUND

In the article – Corona Virus Epidemic Predicted in 1995…by Billy Meier – published by Michael Horn on Jan, 25, 2020, he claims that Billy Meier had predicted the current 2019–20 Wuhan Coronavirus outbreak way back in 1995, 25 years before the event occurred. Michael cites the following verse from Contact Report (CR) 251, a record of the conversation that supposedly happened between Billy and the Plejaren extraterrestrial Ptaah on February 3, 1995:
A lung disease will also break out in humans through the guilt of China, where bioweapons are being researched and a carelessness is releasing pathogens.
ANALYSIS
This verse is part of a list of several prophecies and predictions from CR 251, which was first verifiably published in the book Prophetien und Voraussagen (pg. 400) in 1996 and then later in Aus den Tiefen des Weltenraums (pg. 311) in 1997. However the prophecies and predictions along with the complete CR was verifiably first published in Semjase Kontakt Berichte 15 (SKB 15) in 2000 and then again in 2005 in Plejadisch-Plejarische Kontakt Berichte 7 (PPKB 7). The concerned verse in the first 3 publications are identical, so for convenience we will be quoting just the SKB version. The PPKB 7 version however is significantly different. Also, on the FIGU website the same verse is slightly but significantly different from the SKB version. Below is a comparison of the relevant passages between the SKB, the FIGU website and the PPKB versions:
SKB 15 (2000):
192. Also with the animals the mad cow disease effects will increasingly occur.
193. But all this will not be enough, because another terrible epidemic and disease will break out amongst humanity.
FIGU Website (publication year unknown):
192. Also with the animals the mad cow disease effects will increasingly occur.
193. But all this will not be enough, because another terrible epidemic and lung disease will break out amongst humanity.
PPKB 7 (2005):
Also with the animals the mad cow disease effects will increasingly occur.
But all this will not be enough, because another terrible epidemic will break out in Asia, which will be transmitted by waterfowl and migratory birds, which are immune to the disease, through their feces to chickens, when the birds come into contact with chickens in search of food and excrete their excrement, which is then taken up by the poultry, thereby spreading the epidemic and also to humans, mammals and fish, etc. The disease is transmitted when they eat the feces or the meat of contaminated poultry or birds. A lung disease will also break out in humans through the guilt of China, where bioweapons are being researched and a carelessness is releasing pathogens.
As you can see there are significant differences between all three versions. In SKB 15 only a terrible epidemic and disease is mentioned, which is as generic as it could possibly be since there will always be new epidemics and diseases emerging as time passes, while in the website version the disease was modified into a “lung disease”. In the PPKB version, the epidemic and the disease are described in much more detail.
The Epidemic
The epidemic – highlighted in blue text – in the PPKB version seems to refer to the 1997 outbreak of avian influenza in Hong Kong, or perhaps the later outbreak in 2003 in Asia. Since PPKB 7 was only published in 2005, years after the events transpired, this can’t be considered as evidence for a prediction.
The Disease
The disease – highlighted in red text – is called a lung disease which apparently originated in China. The PPKB version was still published in 2005, long before the 2019 coronavirus broke out, so could this at least still be evidence for a prediction?
As it turns out, it can’t. The below verse from Contact Report 341 says the following:
Contact Report 341, April 2, 2003 (first published in SKB 18, 2004):
Billy:
Then another question regarding SARS: Is this the disease Ptaah was talking about on the 3rd of February 1995?Quetzal:
28. That is correct.
So according to Meier himself, this predicted outbreak of a disease in Contact Report 251 was all about the SARS disease breakout in 2002-2003, and not about the 2019 ‘Wuhan coronavirus’ outbreak (note: coronaviruses are actually a group of viruses, of which SARS and the ‘Wuhan coronavirus’ are both different variants). Since SKB 15 didn’t contain the relevant and specific information, and PPKB 7, which did contain it, was only published in 2005 after the SARS outbreak, the conclusion is that there’s no evidence Meier predicted the SARS, nor the 2019 coronavirus outbreak.
CONCLUSION
Again this is a recurring pattern (see pattern #4) in the Meier literature, where a supposed prediction in the older publications (say SKB) is very generic, and after the supposedly predicted events happened more details are simply added in the later publications (say PPKB). To this day, not a single example has been found in which any relevant, specific details have been demonstrably published before the predicted events took place. So this is just another piece of evidence that suggests backdating.
