All the above information Sfath conveyed to Meier wasn’t published before the occurrence of the events as mentioned. It was only published for the first time in Plejadisch-Plejarische Kontakberichte Block 1 in 2002. The events of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were mentioned by Meier in earlier publications (ex: Stimme der Wassermannzeit – Wissenwertes, No.1, Jhrg. 1, Sep 1976), but of course only long after the events transpired in 1945.

The ineluctable events of the future will be played out with such absolute exactness, as did also the events of the past, to which I want to explain to you that the events of the future will already begin in a short time, and indeed with the murder by poison of Joseph Stalin on March 5th, 1953 in Russia and indeed on the order of inner-party elements.

163. The day of his death will be November 22nd, 1963 in Dallas, Texas.
164. A second political murder will follow this first one only barely five years later, because a new presidential candidate will likewise be killed by the same contracting entity.
165. His death will follow on June 6th, 1968 in Los Angeles, and his name will be Robert Kennedy – a brother of the president, who will be murdered during the year of 1963.
166. The ‘Holy See’ in Rome will also be involved through the worldwide religious and political intrigues.
167. As with Stalin, the same poison, which very quickly dissipates from the body, will be used to murder Pope John the Twenty-third during the year 1963, who will occupy his office only for a very short number of years.

But also his successor, Pope Paul the Sixth will be eliminated in the same manner, due to machinations of the cardinals in cooperation with Zionist-Jewish unfriendly extremists, who, at the present time, have already forged their murders plots and are already preparing the way for the coming events.
169. Greece also has already been selected for a murder of a head of state, because the future reveals that King Paul the First will die the same death by poison on March 6th, 1964, like all those already named.

Also Egypt will not be spared, because in the middle of the seventies, a dictatorial statesman, named Gamal Adbel Nasser will be robbed of his life through poison, just like his friend, the Emir of Kuwait, the year before, who will die the death by poison during the year of 1965, through the hand of his own relatives.

Analysis:

Categorical or Probabilistic Claim?

Verse 157 refers to the above given information as prophecies, while verse 175 refers to them as predictions. Verse 159 says that these foretold events will be fulfilled with absolute certainty, so will asses this information as being categorical claims:

159. The ineluctable events of the future will be played out with such absolute exactness.

All of the described events either already had come to pass or have been speculated before this information was published by Meier. The following verses suggests that Meier was not allowed to release these sensitive matters publicly before permission was granted, presumably only after the events happened:

173. These are the most important dates of the coming events of the next decades.
174. Guard them very carefully and do not speak about these until I give permission.

The permission was allegedly given to Meier to type down these reports with Asket only in the year 1975 after all the foretold events came to pass. These reports were verifiably published for the first time in 1978 (see table above). This information could also have been published between 1975 and 1977, since contact report information was also available for sale, though not in book-form but as individual pages, for 0.30 CHF (Swiss Francs) each. (Source: Stimme der Wassermannzeit No. 8, Jhrg 2, pg. 29, March 1976/April 1995).

Murder of Pope John XXIII in the year 1963

The source of this information was Plejadisch-plejarische Kontakberichte Block 1, 2002, which correctly states Pope John XXIII died in 1963 (he died on June 3, 1963). But in the following earlier publications, the year of the “murder” of Pope John XXIII was given as 1962:

Was the prediction of the alleged ET Asket incorrect? Or was this a typing mistake by Meier or a mistake during the correction process or printing process? Assuming the case is real and this is not a typo, Asket was incorrect in her forecast of this specific future event, showing that even when the ETs say that something will happen with certainty, there is a chance that it won’t happen exactly as mentioned. Since the death of Pope John XXIII had already occurred long before Meier’s publication, and the mistake has been corrected in PPKB 1, it’s reasonable to assume that it was a genuine mistake.

As for the murder itself, if this really happened it would be a very well covered up secret which would be very difficult to uncover or corroborate. We haven’t even found a conspiracy about this theme, let alone evidence to support this claim. The ‘official’ cause of death of Pope John XXIII was stomach cancer, with which he was diagnosed on September 23, 1962, about 8 months before his death.

The underground station beneath the Pyramid of Giza

The following verse 187, like verses 182, 203, 204, 206, 219, 245 & 258 in the same contact report, refer a station created by the alleged malevolent ETs under the Pyramid of Giza:

187. Out of these grounds they have also created a mighty station under the Pyramid of Giza, in order to guide, from there, the religious delusional events of the Earth.

But there’s not just one pyramid at Giza but three main pyramids: the Pyramid of Khufu/Cheops (also known as the Great Pyramid of Giza), the somewhat smaller Pyramid of Khafre (or Chephren) and the relatively moderate-sized Pyramid of Menkaure (or Mykerinos). Meier and Asket did not specify under which pyramid the station of the malevolent ETs was located. Perhaps they did not want to disclose the exact location of the ET station which according to the information should be under only one pyramid of Giza.

From the following link, it is clear that the claims of an underground station/rooms/halls/library etc. being located under the Giza (plateau) is a very old theme and nothing new at all.

The above verses 40 & 89 suggest that all the events mentioned in this contact report ‘must happen’, which suggests the claims are categorical. Verse 40 clearly states that this information was never permitted to be disclosed to anyone.  This information could have been published and sold between 1975 and 1977,not in book-form but as individual pages, before the first verifiable earlier publication of Semjase Kontakt Berichte 1st ed. Block 5 in 1978. Since we do not have any evidence of its publication before 1978, we consider the Semjase 1st ed. Vol 5 as the only earliest verifiable publication.

All the described events already occurred before the contact report was first published (which seems to have been intentional) so it cannot be considered as evidence for prediction.

Creation of MUFON:

71. In regard to that, take note especially of the coming worldwide organisation for ufological work, MUFON, because – along with various pathological know-it-alls and slanderers of truth – it will be your greatest adversary.

This PPKB verse mentions the name and creation of the worldwide UFO organisation known as MUFON, but in all earlier editions, except SKB 2 (2nd ed.), there is no reference to any organisation other than the German UFO group, most likely referring to DUIST (see verses 63 & 75):

70. Especially take attention for the German central for ufological works, for she will become your greatest opponent.

MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) is an American-based non-profit organization that investigates cases of alleged UFO sightings. It is one of the oldest and largest civilian UFO-investigative organizations in the United States, founded in 1969 by Walter H. Andrus, Allen Utke, John Schuessler and others.

Why was ‘German central for ufological works’ replaced with ‘worldwide organisation for ufological work, MUFON’? This is hardly explainable with a typo.

Violent war between Israel and Arabian countries at the end of the year 1976

88. He will be named “Angel of Peace”, yet he will not be able to prevent a violent war breaking out between Israel and the Arabian countries towards the end of the year 1976.
89. All this must happen because, after the averting of the great catastrophe, new paths will already be trodden again to place terrestrial peace in question.

The original German words translated with ‘violent war’ are ‘schwerer Krieg’, which means ‘heavy war’. According to verse 89, the ‘schwerer Krieg’ must happen but it seems it didn’t. We could not find any documentation of such a war between Israel and the Arab countries in 1976 and continued in 1977 (see this list of Arab-Israeli wars and violent events). Since ‘must’ implies 100% certainty the argument that the event was averted or was limited to a small conflict or a skirmish is untenable. So either Asket was incorrect or somehow we didn’t find documentation on this war that according to Asket’s prediction was supposed to happen towards the end of the year 1976.

We plummeted down into Egypt – to the pyramids of Giza…Suddenly Asket grasped me by the hand and led me to a small entrance, opening to the pyramid. Through long, musty passageways, we walked in twilight through the interior of the pyramid. Then it was so dark that I could not recognise anything more. I wondered about the fact that I did not collide with anything and that Asket found the way in spite of this literally Egyptian darkness (Translators’ note. This German idiom “Egyptian darkness” corresponds to “pitch dark” in English). We walked in that manner for a long time and I felt that we climbed down somewhere on various occasions. Then suddenly a very weak light was discernable precisely as if the first light of dawn entered, yet I was not able to fathom the source of this twilight. Now we stood before an enormous, squared stone, somewhere deep in the pyramid. Right before my eyes, suddenly the gigantic ashlar simply dissolved into nothing. And already Asket pulled me over the position where, just a few seconds before, the giant ashlar had been completely joined with other squared stones. A steeply descending passageway, which was guarded by two oddly-clothed men, opened behind the ashlar which had just now vanished. And as I threw back a glance as I walked down the passageway, I could not help but ascertain that the squared stone, which had just disappeared, was again precisely as visible and completely joined as just shortly before, when I saw it for the first time from the other side. As I made this assessment, Asket’s “voice” whispered in my consciousness that I should be mute and not try to speak because we were in a place which was not constructed by her race and it additionally would not be even slightly useful if we were to be identified here and uncovered by the guards. The guards we saw are members of, or are related to, a power-conscious, extraterrestrial group, who, through certain impure means, force a majority of Earth humanity under their control, in order to bring the entire Earth under their control. So then I became silent and mutely followed my leader past the two guards, who took no initiative at all against us. Quite obviously they could not see us and it seemed to me as if, for the two of them, Asket and I simply did not exist. It was a funny situation for me to which I simply could not so quickly accustom myself in spite of the previous experiences. It was simply something completely new and unusual for me. The passage, which was furnished throughout with steps, led steeply and deeply down into the pyramid – deeper and deeper it went down, and then, suddenly, we stood in a gigantic hall which seemed to overflow with light coming from everywhere and nowhere. The hall was giant sized, as was the gigantic disc-shaped spaceship which rested here next to various smaller ships in the middle of this hall, deep below the surface of the Earth. A giant spaceship deep below the foundation walls of the Pyramid of Giza. I pinched myself on the ears, once, twice, three times. I felt the pain and I pressed my fingernails into my ears. The pain intensively reinforced itself. It actually was not a dream. Here, resting deep below the Pyramid of Giza, was actually a discus-shaped spaceship of approximately three hundred metres in diameter. A ship similar to the one I already had seen once on June 2nd, 1942. And this ship here must indeed already have been in this giant storage hall for centuries or even for millennia, very deep under the earth and, by my reckoning, at least 3,000 or 4,000 metres below, or to the side and downward, from the Pyramid of Giza.

18/ For some years now we have noticed a steadily increasing and dangerous change in your atmosphere, which will have deadly consequences for all Earth life; by increasing measure the ozone belt of the stratosphere changes due to irresponsible influences of human achievements.
19/ Different ozone-destroying chemicals mount as gas-substances into the stratosphere and affect the ozone belt.
20/ Especially this treats of the bromine gasses, which reach into the ozone stratum and slowly dissolves it.

30/ In the main, the destroying chemicals and radiations are set free by explosion engines and matter destroying processes of all sorts, for example atom-splitting and similar operations, which in great amount since 1945 has subjected the whole world’s course and all living things to a wicked change.
31/ Destructive chemicals and gasses are released by things of daily life, as each spray-bottle releases besides bromine, chemicals of other sorts, which mount to the atmosphere and destroy it slowly but systematically.
32/ Recently researchers and scientists of different nations have progressed so far, and have proceeded so far in their cognitions, that they have recognized the destructive work of different chemicals, and especially the bromine on the ozone belt, and want to evaluate this in their irresponsible delusion for might for war-technical purposes.

At that time, the task was imposed upon me that I should warn the terrestrial scientists about it, which I also did with a newsletter that I sent to many governments, chemical factories, and universities all over the world, but without ever having received a response or even a slight indication from the receivers. But then, some time later, there suddenly appeared newspaper reports, and messages were also broadcast on the radio and on television, which dealt with the destruction of the ozone layer. But the fact that I had made the scientists attentive and had awakened them to this, not a word of it was reported, of course. But now, the actual killer of the ozone layer, which is very well-known on the Earth, is called the chlorofluorocarbon, briefly designated as CFC. At that time, however, Semjase spoke of bromine or of bromine gases, etc., which would destroy the ozone layer of the Earth. But that can’t correspond to the truth because as is evident, it really concerns the CFC, which is responsible for the destruction.

Analysis:

As mentioned in CR 7, the letters were sent to governments and scientists on Feb 26, 1975 (see below) and it was reported that Meier only got one response from the West Germany embassy in Switzerland, which thanked him for the information. We do not know in which year the complete information on the ozone depletion from CR 7 was made publicly available before it got verifiably published for the first time in SKB 1 (1st ed.), 1977. The letter which was allegedly sent to governments, universities, media etc. was only first published in a revised version of SKB 1 (2nd ed.) in 1992; the first version of SKB 1 (2nd ed.), published in 1987, didn’t contain the letter. 

On the FIGU Switserland website, the now defunct FIGU USA website and on his own website, articles were published on this topic by Billy Meier case media representative Michael Horn. According to him, this information published by Meier corroborates and authenticates the Meier case as being genuine.

Billy Meier representative Michael Horn has published an article – Proof beyond a reasonable doubt – in which he presented the following news articles as evidence of Meier/ETs advanced scientific knowledge on the effects of nuclear explosions on ozone layer:

“Corroborated: November 29, 1988, published report from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories announced this “new discovery”: ATOM BOMB TESTING TIED TO OZONE DEPLETION, 13 years after Meier had already published it..

Corroborated: Los Angeles Times, February 24, 1992: OZONE HOLE DAMAGES FOOD CHAIN, confirming the connection between the UV passing through the ozone hole and genetic mutations and damage to the food chain.”

However the following quotes from newspapers and a magazine from 1974 clearly shows that the negative effects of atom bombs/nuclear explosions on ozone layer and life was already known before Meier allegedly received information about it in 1975.

UPDATE (Sep. 15, 2017):  In his ‘Billy Meier Beyond the Time Barrier‘ article (Sep. 10), Ufologist Kevin D. Randle argues that the idea of – atomic bomb testing destroying the protective screen of the Earth, allowing dangerous radiation to pass through thereby effecting life on Earth – has been covered in the 1960 Hollywood movie Beyond the Time Barrier, more than a decade before Meier published about it in 1975.

Effects of bromine gases on the ozone layer

Michael Horn in his same article, also published the following news article as evidence supporting Meier/ETs advanced scientific knowledge on the effects of bromine gas on ozone layer:

“Corroborated: National Public Radio, 1991, confirmed connection between bromine gases and ozone layer damage.”

However the following verses clearly indicate that Meier acknowledges that this connection was already known among researchers and scientists of different nations about the negative effects of bromine substances on ozone layer.

In 1925, Griffith and McKeown mention in passing, that bromine speeds the decomposition of ozone greatly.

Ozone Depletion Seen as a War Tool, (New York Times, p.20, 28 February 1975)

“Dr. Michael B. McElroy of Harvard University said that (…) bromine appears so effective at ozone depletion that it could be used as a weapon. If injected into the stratosphere over enemy territory in sufficient quantity, according to the proposition, it would purge the ozone, permitting ultraviolet radiation from the sun to reach the ground with such intensity to destroy crops and incapacitate the inhabitants.”

The chemistry of atmospheric bromine (Geophysical Research Letters, Vol 2, Issue 6, pages 215–218, June 1975)

“Bromine may act as a catalyst for recombination of ozone and could be more efficient than either nitric oxide or chlorine (…) Estimates are given for future reductions in O3 which might occur if the use of CH3Br as an agricultural fumigant were to continue to grow at present rates.”

One should know that it takes weeks, months or sometimes even years before a science paper gets published in a peer-reviewed journal. If a scientific discovery, result etc. has some kind of impact of significance outside the scientific world it often gets published in the popular media (which often twists the facts) even before it gets published in a peer-reviewed journal.

So certainly the connection between bromine and the decomposition of ozone depletion was known in the scientific community before Feb 25, 1975 (Meier’s contact date). Moreover the only verifiable evidence of the publication of this bromine-ozone relationship (in CR 7) by Meier is in SKB 1 (1st ed.), 1977, 2 years after the above articles were published in New York Times and also in the Geophysical Research Letters science journal, which are just two references out of many.

Bromine gases or CFCs?

Up to 1990, in all publications Meier and/or the Plejaren mentioned that the main cause for the depletion of the Ozone layer were ‘bromine gas substances’ or ‘bromine gases’, see below verses:

20/ Especially this treats of the bromine gasses, which reach into the ozone stratum and slowly dissolves it.

In fact, on an atom-for-atom basis, bromine is 50-100 times more destructive of ozone than is chlorine. This is partly because bromine compounds usually exist in the active BrOx forms rather than the non-ozone-destroying forms (BrONO2 and HBr), and thus are immediately ready for ozone destruction. The main source of bromine in the stratosphere is methyl bromide, emitted naturally by oceanic biological activity and from anthropogenic activities such as soil fumigation and biomass burning. Other potentially important anthropogenic bromine sources are halons, used in fire extinguishers. But, bromine gases are less than 1% as abundant as chlorine gases & the effect of bromine substances is relatively small compared to the effects of CFCs because as said bromine is present in fairly low concentrations in the atmosphere, less than 50 bromine atoms for each trillion air molecules. It is the bromine+chlorine mixed cycle (which gets into the stratosphere mainly from the release of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs)) that is very important in destroying ozone, and is the main cycle responsible for the destruction of the global ozone layer. (Ozone loss in the polar regions is mainly due to a different process). This cycle is:

Br + O3 –> BrO + O3
Cl + O3 –> CLO + O2
BrO + ClO –> Br + CL + O2

This cycle is more effective because it doesn’t require oxygen atoms, and because there is much more chlorine than bromine in the atmosphere. Note that at the end of this cycle both the bromine and chlorine atoms are unchanged and can destroy more ozone. The bromine and chlorine atoms stop destroying ozone only when they react with other chemicals to form a “reservoir” species, one that doesn’t react with ozone, such as HBr or HCl.

The bromine/chlorine mixed cycle is so effective at destroying ozone that bromine halocarbons are one type of chemical compound being regulated under the Montreal Protocol (an international treaty developed in the 1980s to help prevent ozone depletion).

But in all publications after 1990 or 1992, these same verses that mentioned the “significance” of bromine, were altered as below:

21. Diverse ozone-destroying chemicals rise up as gas substances into the stratosphere and damage the ozone belt.
22. This refers specifically to the Chlorofluorocarbons & the bromine gases which smell very bad and in contrast to the term of Earth Man, in our terms of language are denoted as the poisonous gases and not as the Chlorofluorocarbons.

27. In particular, these are the chlorofluorohydrocarbon gases and the Bromine gas substances which destroy the ozone belt together with many other pollutants slowly as I have already mentioned.

One could argue that Meier/FIGU might have changed the verses after being made aware of the scientific facts by others or by themselves. This hypothesis, we cannot prove. But what does Meier say about it ?

In CR 236 (1990) it was “clarified” that when Semjase spoke of the word ‘Brom’ in CR 7 (1975), she actually meant chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) and not ‘bromine gas’, as was thought up to then. The reason that was given for that was that in the Plejaren language the word ‘Brom’ has the same meaning as ‘CFC’ in our language and that Semjase made a mistake by using the inappropriate word while conveying the information to Meier.

Even if we assume that Meier’s information from CR 236 as true, the relation between CFCs and ozone depletion was already proposed for the first time by the scientists Frank Sherwood Rowland, Chemistry Professor at the University of California at Irvine, and his postdoctoral associate Mario J. Molina in Nature vol. 259, June 28,  1974, nearly 8 months before Meier received the information from Semjase in February 1975. Since then the negative effects of FCKW (Fluorchlorkohlenwasserstoffe) or CFC’s (Chloroflurocarbons) were theorized and proposed in many science papers, though it was not conclusively proven until much later in 1984.

How can Meier claim the credit for ‘having made the scientists attentive and awakened them’ to the effects of Bromine (which is both incorrect & was already known to scientists by the time of Meier’s contact on February 25, 1975) and also to the effects of CFCs (which Meier never mentioned until the year 1990) in CR 236 and various other publications?

Now let’s go back to the time of February 25, 1975 when Meier allegedly received information from Semjase on the destruction of the ozone layer by ozone-destroying chemicals especially ‘bromine/bromides’. We do not have any verifiable information of that publication available, however we were provided by Meier a letter (see below; available in SKB 1 and PPKB 1, pg. 75) which he on February 26, 1975 allegedly sent to authorities in Governments, Universities, the Military, Sciences, Media, Radio, TV stations etc. in all countries on Earth. But strangely there was no mention of bromine/bromides in that letter at all, instead there was only mention of FCKWs (Fluorchlorkohlenwasserstoffe) or CFCs (Chloroflurocarbons). This suggests that this letter is not an exact representation of the original letter allegedly written and sent by Meier on February 26, 1975 because we would expect that original letter would mention bromine substances instead of FCKW’s since Semjase only mentioned ‘bromine gases and bromides’ as the cause for the destruction of the ozone layer in CR 7, February 25, 1975 and in other publications up to 1990 (CR 236) or 1992 (SKB, 2nd ed. Block 1, 2nd version).

Appeal

Everybody in charge of all governments, universities, militaries, sciences, media, Radio and TV stations etc., in all countries on Earth, are called upon to observe the following, take into account and to take logical action in a manner relating to this, in order to avert the imminent evil for the entire life on Earth and for the nature and the planet: As contact man to extra-terrestrial intelligences from the star cluster of the Pleiades in the constellation of Taurus, I was informed that a disaster is threatening Earth and all life on Earth due to an advancing depletion of the ultraviolet radiation-restraining ozone layer triggered through the fault of people on Earth themselves, who rapidly damages and destroys the ozone layer through the production and release of CFC’s. According to the information from my Pleiadian friends, a world-wide ban for the use of CFC’s is urgently required and in fact within a short period of time. We have no time to loose so a complete ban and an enforcement of the same must take place within the next twelve months if serious damage is to be avoided. According to the information provided to me, the ozone layer is already to such an extent damaged that that it will bring about harmful effects to the health of plants and animal life and to human life. A fact, which will affect a lot worse still, if as a result of human irrationality and greed etc., the use of CFC’S is not totally banned. The southern ozone layer over the polar region is already severely damaged what is also worldwide the case with the entire ozone protective layer of the earth, albeit for the time being only to a minor extent. However, this will change very quickly if the use and release of the destructive CFC’s continues. If this continues to occur then the result will be, according to the information from the Pleiadians, that by the year 1990, thus in only 15 years, the ozone layer can be damaged in such a way, and to such an extent affected in its protective function that enormous holes in the ozone layer will form above the polar regions and then further on over the entire Earth, whereby the very existence of all life on Earth will become endangered. In humans will skin cancer will also alarmingly increase as well as blindness and eye complaints etc. But also the entire flora and fauna will be affected in its existence, of which the die off and extinction of many plants and trees will only be one of many ills. Also allergies and many diseases will increasingly occur, in addition to new ills which no curative medicine will prevent.
All responsible people of the Earth are urged take this warning and this appeal serious, to listen to the well-intentioned knowing words of the Pleiadians,  to do everything necessary to avert the danger of destroying the global ozone protective layer while there is still time, in the interest of all life on Earth.
All of you responsible people of the Earth, who has the possibility, through a strict CFCs usage ban or through official warnings etc., to prevent humans from the dangerous use of CFCs or make them aware about the threatening danger, must do all that is humanly possible and apply all initiatives available to you in order to avert the imminent danger and in order to keep all life on Earth, and the planet itself, alive.

Ozone holes

Following information is taken from James Deardorff’s response on March 6, 1999 in an online mailing list:

“Regarding ozone holes, what Meier was told is less convincing. He was told of ozone holes (plural) circulating with the wind and not of a single hole (over Antarctica) that would dominate the ozone depletion. But it’s important to distinguish between the evidence & witness tesimony supporting a contactee’s experiences and the truth or accuracy of what the contactee is told. He can be told anything, including disinformation, if it serves the contactors’ purposes.”

Semjase says the following to Meier regarding the movement of a hole in the ozone belt:

36/ An additional factor that comes into effect is that the ozone belt has a certain movement, and is wandering.
37/ A hole would not only destroy a well defined region, but it would wander nearly uncontrollably and also destroy other regions.
38/ This is a fact which is not yet known to your scientists.

We contacted James Deardorff (Research Professor Emeritus, Department of Atmospheric Sciences, Oregon State University) on this issue and he responded on the wandering of the ozone belt phenomenon as follows:

“… (it) was known when I was a graduate student in meteorology in 1957. i.e., the ozone moves with the stratospheric winds as well as undergoing production and destruction depending upon its altitude. Typically in the northern hemisphere spring during clear weather we learned that the O3 content would be lowest, because upper air subsidence was lowering the altitude of the O3 layer within the lower stratosphere, causing its destruction rate to exceed its production rate.”

From his response it is clear that the movement of the ozone belt, so also the holes in the ozone belt (which are nothing more than regions of exceptionally depleted ozone), was already a known phenomenon before 1975, so why would Semjase say that it was unknown to scientists?

Following are some of the critical questions to ponder:

  1. Why would Meier forward a letter to all governments, institutions and scientists and especially to Mr. McElroy at Harvard University in the USA, who by that time already knew about the phenomenon including the effects of bromine gas on the ozone layer?
  2. How did Meier think that by sending letters containing information which by that time was already theorized/proposed by scientists, would bring about a change in the policy makers decision on ending/limiting the production of substances causing ozone depletion?
  3. What reason do persons holding positions in governments or scientific circles have in order for them to pay serious, undivided attention to Meier’s letter, when Meier, with only a sixth-grade education and no scientific background, wasn’t even well-known for his claims of being in contact with ETs nor provided any strong, convincing evidence by the time of the letter i.e. February 26, 1975?

Analysis:

These 11 predictions are very general and could apply to any year. This information could have been published between 1975 and 1976, before the first verifiable earlier publication of Semjase Kontakt Berichte 1st ed. Block 3 in 1977, in the form of the individual pages of Contact Reports which were sold by Figu at that time. But even IF it was verifiably published on the same day as the alleged contact with Semjase (May 9, 1975), the generality of the descriptions renders its useless as possibly conclusive evidence for prediction.

One interesting thing to note is that in PPKB 1, the words ‘until 1976’ were removed from verse 94, whereas it was present in all earlier publications.

Earth’s gravity influenced Venus rotation

It is a known fact that all planets are gravitationally bound to each other in the solar system. Also it has long been known that the orbital periods of Venus and Earth are very close to an 8:13 resonance, which means that for every 8 Earth years, Venus orbits the Sun almost exactly 13 times. Furthermore it was known for decades that Venus has an unusual retrograde rotation, which means it rotates from east to west, instead of west to east as most of the other major planets do. Moreover the periods of Venus’s rotation and of its orbit are synchronised in such a way that it always presents the same face to Earth when the two planets are closest to each other. It was thought that this may simply be a coincidence, but there is some speculation that this may be the result of tidal locking, with tidal forces affecting Venus’s rotation whenever the planets (Earth and Venus) get close enough together. That idea, raised decades ago in the 1960’s, was disregarded when it turned out that Venus is spinning too fast to be in such a gravitational “resonance”.

The NewScientist article ‘Are Venus and Earth in a long-distance relationship?‘ (March 2010) mentions the hypothesis of Gérard Caudal (University of Versailles-Saint Quentin, France) that Earth could still be pulling on Venus by controlling its core. However according to the article he had made ‘large assumptions’ in his calculations, so this is still in a speculative stage. According to Caudal’s original 2010 science paper, the idea of a spin-orbit resonance between the Earth and Venus has been proposed at least since 1963. Even before that, in 1950 the famous psychiatrist and independent scholar Immanuel Velikovsky published his most controversial book Worlds in Collision, in which he postulated the provocative theory, based on historical data of primarily mythologies of ancient civilizations, that Venus began as a brilliant comet ejected by Jupiter around 1600 BCE, wreaking chaos on Mars and Earth as it roamed through our solar system prior to settling into its current orbit. The events he described in his 1950 book come very close to Meier’s description of events. See this link to understand Velikovsky’s theory on Venus. The relationship between Earth and Venus has yet to be proved by science.

Venus’ physical conditions

The Contact Report mentions the following conditions on Venus:

According to contemporary science, the reason for the current conditions on Venus is a runaway greenhouse effect, not its migration from Uranus.

From USSR’s Venera 4, launched in 1967, we already knew that the atmosphere consists largely of carbon dioxide. Venera 7 reached the Venus surface in December 1970 and transmitted for 23 minutes. It measured a surface temperature of 475°C (887°F), hot enough to melt lead. The probe measured a surface pressure of 90 bar. Venera 8 landed on Venus on July 22, 1972. During its descent on Venus it measured winds speed of 100 m/s at 48 kilometers above the surface. In UET-WS Vol 4 (and thus most likely in Semjase Kontakt Berichte, 1st ed. Block 4, 1977), the gas percentages are given as:

CO2 – 87 %
N2 + Noble gases – 55.47 %
O2 – 4.23 %

In Semjase Kontakt Berichte, 2nd ed. Block 2, pg. 233, 1987, they are given as:

N2 + Noble gases – 95.47 %
CO2 – 87 %
O2 – 4.23 %

Then in Plejadisch-Plejarische Kontakberichte Block 1, pg. 222, 2002, they are given as:

CO2 + N2 – 95.47 %
CO – 87 %
O2 + HCl + SO2 + Noble gases – 4 %

Apart from the fact that each publication mentions different atmospheric compositions, shouldn’t all gas percentages add up to 100%? When add the values published in each edition, instead of 100% we get 146.7%, 186.7% and 186.47%. Moreover, even as far as back in the early 1960s and 1970s, years before Meier’s CR 29 (1975), according to scientist the atmospheric composition of Venus was very different from that of the CR information. According to Wikipedia, the atmospheric composition of Venus is:

Carbon dioxide – 96.5 %
Nitrogen – 3.5 %
Sulfur dioxide – 150 ppm (0.015 %)
Argon – 70 ppm (0.007 %)
Water vapour – 20 ppm (0.002 %)
Carbon monoxide – 17 ppm (0.0017 %)

Hydrogen chloride – 0.1–0.6 ppm
Hydrogen fluoride – 0.001–0.005 ppm

There is no comparison at all between the values given by Meier and the values known to science. Unless the percentages given to Meier somehow have a completely different meaning, they are completely incorrect.

Analysis:

In FIGU Bulletin 42 (February 2003), an article – “NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC” validates Billy Meier Claim – was published. In fact this FIGU article is a reproduction of an article originally published by the author of the book Star Wisdom – Gene Andrade in a magazine NEXUS, June-July 2002 edition. The same article was also published in other FIGU websites belonging to Figu groups in the USA (now defunct), the Czech Republic and a French and Spanish Figu website. Also the Meier case Representative Michael Horn promotes the Chimborazo information (among many other information) as strong evidence in his article – Proof beyond a reasonable doubt, where he points to an article published in the June 1996 edition of Earth magazine.

However, the fact that Mt. Chimborazo in Ecuador was higher than Mt. Everest, at least measured from the center of the Earth, was known since the beginning of the 20th century. Following are just 2 examples out of many that can be easily found online using Google search:

Mt. Chimborazo (Ecuador) is the highest mountain in the world! It is 2 1/2 miles higher than Mt. Everest.

We have informed FIGU Core Group member and SSSC director Christian Frehner, Meier case Representative Michael Horn and also to the FIGU Czech Republic website about this on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 12:11 AM. Only Christian Frehner responded as follows on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 12:40 AM:

“Actually this is not very important because for the general public Mt. Everest is still the highest mountain. Besides, it is just an article by a non-FIGU member. We are not using it to prove anything.
However, I will discuss this with Billy on a next occasion.“

And on September 25, 2012 at 12:52 AM Christan sent another email saying the following:

“I’ve spoken with Billy about the issue. Since there is no claim in the contact notes that Billy was the first one to name Mt. Chimborazo as the highest mountain on Earth, there’s no urgent need to remove Gene Andrades article from the FIGU Bulletin. But thank you anyway for directing us to the discrepancy. Perhaps we could publish a small correction note in one of the next bulletins.”

Objection:

The Nexus magazine article’s title (which is the same for the article in the FIGU Bulletin) and the very first sentence (see below) of the article clearly suggest what the author wanted to convey.

“Finally, proof has emerged that validates Eduard (Billy) Meier’s claim that he was contacted by extraterrestrials from the Pleiades in the 1970s!”

Moreover the National Geographic (NG) article (January 2002), which Gene Andrade considered a validation of Meiers extraterrestrial contacts, was actually a Q/A section called ‘Ask Us‘, in which the magazine subscribers can ask any question and NG answers it. It was not even a conclusion of any form of scientific research but just a simple response in a Q/A section. In it’s response NG didn’t at all suggested that the fact that Chimborazo is higher than Mount Everest was a new discovery.

Publishing such a pro-biased, invalid and unsubstantiated article (authored by Meier and Christian Frehner) in a FIGU Bulletin, apparently without any verification, obviously suggests that Meier/FIGU acknowledges the (incorrect) conclusions arrived at by the author of the article, Gene Andrade. As of today, no rectification was yet published on the FIGU main website

However the FIGU group from the Czech Republic did understand the implications and have immediately included the following note on their website upon being notified by us:

Deeper investigation and reseasrch showed that National Geographic is not the first source that informs about the highest mountain in the world – Chimborazo. The following links show that on this subject have already written much earlier. This prediction was made by the Soviet magnetologist Medwedew, as reported by the Moscow newspaper «Sowjetsjaka Rossija». He says that according to his theory, the magnetic North Pole of the Earth will gradually move away from the Canadian Arctic Ocean, where it is currently located, to the Arabian Sea, due to a displacement of the inner, fluid core of our planet.
The researcher drew this conclusion from the movements of the magnetic pole in the last 125 years. In about 2000 years, the magnetic North Pole would even have moved across Africa to the Atlantic Ocean. The magnetic South Pole will then be located in the Pacific, nearby South America, according to Medwedews theory.”

The above news article is from page 12 of the Swiss newspaper Der Zürcher Oberländer, October 4, 1975. This article was provided along with Contact Report 35 in Semjase Kontakt Berichte 1st ed. Block 7 (1978), Semjase Kontakt Berichte 2nd ed. Block 3 (1987), Prophetien und Voraussagen (1996) and in Plejadisch-plejarische Kontakberichte Block 1 (2002). We are not sure if the conclusion of this 1975 study is still valid. Assuming it is, there is still no evidence that Meier verifiably published Contact Report 35 before the newspaper article. But even if it was, the reason Ptaah gave for the predicted movement of the magnetic north pole the next 1000 years is atomic bomb explosions, while the conclusion reached by a Russian scientist was based on the past movement of the magnetic north pole recorded over the last 125 years i.e. from 1875.

Scientists had long suspected that, since the molten core is constantly moving, changes in its magnetism might be affecting the surface location of the magnetic poles. James Ross, a British naval officer and explorer located the magnetic north pole for the first time in 1831 after an exhausting arctic journey during which his ship got stuck in the ice for 4 years. No one returned there until the next century. In 1904 Roald Amundsen, a Norwegian explorer of polar regions, found the north magnetic pole again and discovered that it had moved north at least 50 km since the days of Ross. During the 20th century the pole kept moving north at an average speed of 10 km per year. More information on this topic here.

Interestingly, the movement of the north magnetic pole has speeded up rapidly since around 1990. As is also suggested in this article, it is not entirely clear yet what the cause is, although it is suggested that the cause is natural. We have not (yet) found any source that corroborates that a relation exists between atomic bomb explosions (which started in 1945) and the (increased) movement of the magnetic pole.

56/ Ore-mining or other mineral mining on a planet or another star is done by us only in extreme emergency, because this process is equal to the destruction of the star.
57/ A planet or another star is never exploited in a form as is done on Earth.
58/ What the Earth human being does by that is equal to the destruction of the planet.
59/ The first evil effects of this destruction came up on the Earth already some decades ago, and at the present time it is already experiencing the pains of the destruction itself.

The following links suggest that the connection between oil and gas extraction, ore-mining and construction of dams causing earthquakes has long been observed and various theories supported by some degree of evidence have been proposed before CR 45 (1976) was published or even allegedly took place:

Not every oil and gas extraction, ore-mining and dam construction caused earthquakes or will cause earthquakes. According to contemporary science, a variety of factors have to come into play in order to trigger an earthquake. Semjase’s description is vague and does not mention any specifics.

IIG’s website addresses the implication of Semjase’s claim that more dams, more mining and more oil/gas extraction would automatically generate more earthquakes and volcanic eruptions:

In the past century, there has been a large increase in oil wells drilled, dams built, and the size of cities, but there has been no corresponding increase in large earthquakes and volcanic activity. There does not appear to be any correlation between those human activities and earthquakes or volcanoes.

NASA placed two Viking Landers (VL) on the surface of Mars in 1976 to study the physical environment there and to look for evidence of life. Three distinct biology experiments were carried on each Viking Lander. Dr. Gilbert Levin, principal investigator of the Labelled Release (LR) experiment (one of the three biology experiments), has maintained over the years that the results of his 1976 experiment rendered a positive result on the presence of microbial life on Mars. However according to Viking Project Scientist Dr. Gerald Soffen the post-mission consensus was that life on Mars was not found. But Dr. Levin, after years of study, concluded that his 1976 experiment had indeed detected life on the red planet, and published his conclusion in 1997. Visit this link for all the papers published by Dr. Levin about life on Mars. However, the majority of scientists believe that no floric or faunic life on Mars was ever detected.

More water exists on Mars than earthly science assumed until then

A corroboration article – Vorkommen von Wasser auf dem MARS entdeckt – was published by FIGU CG member Hans George Lanzendorfer (HGL) in FIGU Bulletin 50, December 2004. In the article he made two claims:

This Wikipedia page shows that the idea of water on Mars has been around for centuries.

Based on the data collected from satellites and ground based telescope observations, several science papers and news articles that report some degree of evidence that supports the ‘Water on Mars’ theory were published decades before Meier wrote about it in 1976. Besides that, the information in this CR is very general and nothing of it has never been proposed or theorized before.

Regarding the 2nd claim HGL writes:

“Already in Bulletin No. 7 of June 1996 BEAM wrote: ‘The successful outcome of this race to Mars may very well be that for the first time in our recorded history, humans will set foot on to the fourth SOL planet’s soil in the early part of the twenty-first century. Such an event will fulfill related Pleiadian/Plejaran predictions (see Predictions and Prophecies, now available in German from FIGU) in which they forecast also that 1996 will be a decisive year for the budding Mars research programs’. Indeed, it has launched the so-called Mars mission <Pathfinder> in 1996 by NASA.”

So this implies that in FIGU Bulletin 7 (June 1996) Meier wrote about a forecast, published in the book Prophecies and Predictions (1996), that stated 1996 will be the decisive year for budding Mars research programs. What does ‘decisive’ mean? It is vague and open to multiple interpretations. Since HGL takes this as a launch of Mars probe, to corroborate Meier’s claims, let us see when Meier first wrote about it.

Contact Report 251 was published in the book Prophetien und Voraussagen (pg. 405) in 1996, it contains the following passage:

“(…) but these times will not be as uncertain as will be the case in 1995. A year in which also new discoveries on Mars are possible…”

There are 3 problems:

How can this be called a corroboration, when the launch of Mars Pathfinder was already planned years before the prophecy was allegedly made in 1995 and published in 1996 by Meier?

Analysis:

Following are some excerpts from the book ‘The Secret of Atlantis‘ (original German title: Alles über Atlantis) by Otto Muck, 1956/1976, translated using Google Translate:

“Supposed that they had suffered local impacts caused by the collapse of planetoid fragmented, say the group Adonis, which opened craters, meanwhile submerged under its weight and its velocity of fall, these fragments of the asteroid would have entered the ocean bed, entering it deeply, but without reaching the magma fluid.” – (pg. 12)
“However, the celestial body in question was not a comet, according to the technical terminology, but a body larger and erratic, a planetoid.. The two impact craters are adjacent and are similar in size and shape. Both are roughly oval, and in both, the major axes of the ellipses run from northwest to southeast. This would suggest that the objects that struck like cosmic shells and gouged out these deep sea-holes came either from the southeast or the northwest.” – (pg. 146)
“However, what was the meteor of the taiga (Tunguska) in comparison with The Planetoid? The mass of the latter was at least 200 billion tonnes (= mass), its speed of fall, conditional on Earth, was 20 km/second and therefore the force of impact was 20 billion tons kilometer ( MKG = 2.1019), with heat value of more than 40 billion calories. To achieve the same explosive effect, it needs to detonate.. total impact of 30,000 atomic bombs, launched in highly concentrated bombing.” – (pg. 164)

As you can see, Otto Muck has published the same information about a planetoid hitting earth’s crust in the Atlantic Ocean (near Carolina) and its global consequences. Even the estimated impact power of 30,000 H-bobms was close to Meier’s 32,000 H-bombsas.

It seems the 2 craters that were found and mentioned in a 2009 BBC article, which Michael Horn cites as evidence of Meier’s contact with ETs, were not of the two large fragments Semjase was talking about because Otto Muck estimates the size of the original planetoid to be 10 kms in diameter, which matches what Semjase said: “several kilometers in diameter” and “32,000 hydrogen bombs”. The estimated size of the asteroid that supposedly made the dinosaurs go extinct was 10 kms and the crater size was 180 kms (or maybe even 300 kms) and the power of impact was 2 million hydrogen bombs. But the Fried Egg crater discovered in the Atlantic Ocean in 2009 was just 6 kms in diameter and the second crater was even smaller than that.

Planet Mercury is Shrinking

206/ The metal core of the planet has such a large specific mass, that the outer skin, that is, the outer stratum, contract constantly inwards, by which fact the outer spheres become extremely compact.

Analysis:

In September 2012 Michael Horn published an article (A Sampling of Billy Meier’s Prophetically Accurate Published Evidence) in which he lists the information on Mercury’s core as a strong evidence. This was also brought forward in a 22-minute long segment his documentary As the time fulfills (2012)

As it turns out the fact that Mercury is shrinking was discovered in the year 1974 by NASA’s Mariner 10, which was an unmanned mission to the planets Venus and Mercury. It has been speculated that Mercury’s over-sized iron core has been cooling down and getting denser for billions of years, and its contraction may be the driving force behind the wrinkles on Mercury’s surface. The 1974 observations indicated that Mercury shrunk between 1 – 2 kms, but according to a 2008 study new measurements showed the shrinkage to be at least a third more than previously thought. In CR 66 (1976), Semjase mentioned that this contraction is still going on, which was not confirmed by the 2008 study as the following quote from this study suggests:

“In fact, the planet seems to have shrunk more than previously thought – and may still be shrinking… Further study may help date the scarps, revealing whether Mercury is still shrinking or has stopped.”

The fact that Mercury is still shrinking (and shrank more than was previously thought) seems to have been finally confirmed in 2014. Since this theory has already been suggested since 1974, this cannot be considered as strong evidence for a prediction.

Michael Horn published the articles – THE EASTER ISLAND MYSTERY EXPLAINED! (with an update in September 2009) and A Sampling of Billy Meier’s Prophetically Accurate Published Evidence (September 2012), citing the above CR 69 and CR 230 as evidence of the authenticity of the Meier case. However, it was already known since the beginning of the 20th century that the material fro the statues and hats originated from quarries in a small volcanic crater. The following is from the book ‘The mystery of Easter island: The story of an expedition‘ published in 1919 by British archaeologist Katherine Routledge:

The original source of all the news articles published in 2009 on the ‘Easter Island mystery solved!’ theme, which Michael Horn used as a corroboration, is a newsletter released by The University of Manchester in the UK. In that newsletter the team of British archaeologists didn’t at all mention that this was about a new discovery. The whole “mystery solved” was an exaggeration by the media, as happens very often with scientific news. That these facts were already known also becomes apparent from a Discover magazine article from 1995:
“(…) the best stone for the statues was quarried at Rano Raraku near Easter’s northeast end; red stone, used for large crowns adorning some of the statues, was quarried at Puna Pau, inland in the southwest…”.

Puna Pao (locally known) is the Easter Island’s statue hat quarry which is also the same place in which the UK experts worked and published their findings about in 2009.

Milky way’s Supermassive Black Hole and its distance from our Sun

Okay, and how does such a galaxial center form itself? Such a central sun, I mean, from which a galaxy is generated?

As you can see, only in PPKB 2 (2003) it was explicitly stated that a black hole (Schwarzes Loch) is in the center of our galaxy. In the earlier two editions of Semjase Kontakt Berichte, it was only mentioned as a ‘central sun’ which is pretty vague and general and doesn’t necessarily mean it contains a black hole. During the early days of research into the galactic center, next to the black hole hypothesis it was also speculated by some astronomers that the center would either consist of a group of very massive star(s), X-ray binaries or a young pulsar or a triple-star system. Only later did more evidence in support of the black hole hypothesis began to accumulate, finally confirming the hypothesis that there was indeed a black hole (Cygnus X-1) in the center of the Milky Way.

Distance from our solar system to the galactic center

In the above MFTP Vol 3, the distance to the galactic center is given as 53,000 light years. In PPKB 2, the distance is given as 57,000 light years.

Then in Contact Report 224, Thursday, July 7th, 1988, which was first published in Plejadisch-plejarische Kontakberichte Block 5, 2004, the distance to the center of the black hole of our Milky Way is said to be 35,000 light years:

(…) The center of the black hole of our Milky Way, also according to Ptaah’s explanation, is located about 35,000 light years away from the SOL system in the constellation of Sagittarius, while we are located with our solar system far outside in the so-called Orion spiral arm…

In Contact Report 236, Thursday, April 26, 1990, which was first published in Plejadisch-plejarische Kontakberichte Vol 6, 2005, it was mentioned that our scientists had determined that the distance to the central sun of our Milky Way is 45,000 ly and it was pointed out that it was wrong as the actual distance is 35,002 light years.

Billy:
Aha, and where, then, is this other side of the Sun? If I’m correctly informed, then by the Sun, you don’t mean our Sun, and also not a sun in the old Lyran system; rather, you speak of that sun that we know as the central sun of our Milky Way?

Ptaah:
202. That corresponds with the facts, yes

Meier:
Our scientists of astronomy say that the central Milky Way sun is about 45,000 light years away from us. But you’ve explained to me that this is an erroneous calculation and mistaken assumption, as the real distance amounts to 10,000 light years fewer.

Ptaah:
203. Our distance data are certain.
204. The Sol system, outside the Milky Way, constitutes something like an enclave because it floats as a single system far outside a spiral arm.
205. The distance to calculate from there to the middle of the central sun is 35,002 light years.

Assuming Meier was talking about the SMBH (Supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way) when referring to the central sun, we have not found any scientific articles from the time of Meier’s contact that suggest a distance of 45,000 ly. Instead already by 1971 (and certainly much earlier) our scientists came to the conclusion that this distance is between 8 and 10 kpc (~26,100-32,600 ly) and by 1981 most scientists agreed upon a distance of 8.5 kpc (~27,700 ly). The latest research indicates a distance of 8.33±0.35 kpc (~27,000± 1000ly) from Earth.[1][2][3][4][5]

Which value is correct: 57,000 light years (CR 69, 1976) or 35,002 light years (CR 224, 1988 and CR 236, 1990)? Even if Meier says one of them is a typing/printing error, both values do not concur with the distance determined by contemporary science. Unless new scientific determinations converge on a value given in the Contact Reports, this information remains questionable and uncorroborated.

Galactic center plays a role in the formation of star clusters & galaxies

The information in the Contact Report is not very clear. Even if we assume that the galactic center Meier talked about is the supermassive black hole at the center of Milky Way galaxy, a black hole according to contemporary science would only be able to generate star formation or possibly even create an entire galaxy when the radio jets emitted by the black hole triggers the collapse of dense interstellar clouds. There was no mention of interstellar clouds in Meier’s contact notes so further analysis of this information is mute.

In 1976 an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 on the Richter scale occurred in China. The epicenter of the earthquake was near Tangshan in Hebei, People’s Republic of China, an industrial city with approximately one million inhabitants. Meier says that the prophecy given to him by PETALE (highly evolved spiritual entity) indicated a death toll of 1 million. We could not find the prophecy which Meier was referring to. The sources Wikipedia quotes, indicate that the official death toll is around 242,000 while the highest unofficial estimate is 779,000:

8/ By undersea volcanoes new islands will be generated, where our analysis shows that the first island of this kind will rise near Japan.

10/ Especially are menaced by earthquakes in 1977 all those countries which were shaken by quakes already in 1976.
11/ But there also announces itself in this, year the great trench of San Francisco to Alaska, and regions of Austria, Switzerland and Germany which are afflicted by different earthquakes.

25/ 7) Shipping of the world will be cruelly beaten, and very many victims will be demanded.

27/ Especially the oil-transportation shipping is threatened by the enormous amount of natural power, which opposes the robbery exercised by the human being and exploitation of Earth petrol but which connections the earth human being is not able to understand and to believe, and even does not know about at all, or accept.

32/ In this way the forces of nature defend themselves against the delusion of the earth human, with the aim of destroying him, because, when the human being disappears from the Earth surface, then is the Earth first able to begin regeneration, which activity could last for millions of years, and return her to a primary status.
33/ But for this not to happen, the human being has little chance even if he stops all earthly exploitation as soon as possible, and no further exploits her.

42/This wicked and menacing event can only be averted if the nations of the world come to an agreement to dissolve together the state of Israel, where after then all borders of all states axe dissolved and a world government formed which should come into function.
43/This alone vouches for reaching the long time hoped for peace, and to preserve it as well, while basically it must be explained that there has to be formed a world’s government of non-political manner, but a spiritually guided one, which must be exercised.
44/ 9) The year of 1977 will be basically a year of murder of great and small character.
45/ land of the Earth will be spared from this, as even wicked massacres will break out in many places searching out innumerable victims of human beings.
46/ Switzerland also will not remain spared from this, but of other shapes and less quantity.
47/ Murders and other killings from hate, despair and revenge will rise rapidly in amount, as well as murders for purely criminal reasons.
48/ Whole families will fall victim to the murderous passions of very different elements, especially in the first half of the year.
49/ Nullities will come to appear as the reason for the bloody deeds, and the murdering elements will even feel themselves in the right.

In Contact Report 79 (Saturday, July 16, 1977), Message from the Pleiades Vol 4, pg. 106, 1995 the following verse suggests that the majority of the prophetic/predictive statements for the year 1977 in CR 71 were made by Meier.

21/ It would have been right, if you have informed the group members about this and told them, that a few parts more than two thirds of the predictions for the year 1977 rose from your own knowledge of prediction and calculations of probability, and that only the small rest was coming from my own work.

  4. In the Northeast and East, the idea of a world-wide war threatens, stirred up by the plotting of Israel, which can only be averted by dissolving the entire state of Israel
  5. Scientists of one nation are developing an extremely dangerous and deadly weapon, by which the respective nation will win the greatest power
  6. Murder and other killings in hate, despair and vengeance etc. will rise rapidly in number
  7. Scientists of all branches make many new discoveries

A total of 14 points or claims for the year 1977 were made by Semjase (on Jan 10, 1977) and we have condensed all the data in them into 17 predictions – into natural and man-made events. Out of these 17 predictions, only 3 can be considered testable/falsifiable, the rest are simply  to unspecific.

The 3 selected predictions are:

Earthquakes, worse than in the last 900 years will occur and the death toll will be much higher than in 1976

The Tangshan earthquake in China in 1976 is believed to be the largest earthquake of the 20th century regarding the death toll[3]. We have already discussed the death toll of this 1976 earthquake earlier in earlier CR 70. On this list on the US Geological Survey  (USGS) website of 1977 earthquakes with a magnitude of 6.0 or higher, the earthquake with the highest death toll occurred in Romania on March 4, of which the magnitude was 7.2 and the death toll around 1500 people. However the 1976 Tangshan earthquake, with a magnitude of 7.8 on Richter scale had a death toll of hundreds of thousands of people, so this prophecy allegedly given by Semjase didn’t fulfill.

In the next few days several thousands of people in the nation of Zaire will be destroyed by a heavy volcano eruption

On 10 January 1977, Mount Nyiragongo in the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire) erupted. The word Semjase used in German about the Zaire’s volcanic eruption is ‘vernichtet’ which could mean destroyed, annihilated, killed, crushed etc. If Semjase meant ‘killed’, then the official death toll is very tiny – just 72 while some other estimates only go to a maximum of 400 – compared to her remark of “several thousand people”.

This Wikipedia article – New Islands – is about islands which have been created recently, either by volcanism, erosion, glacial retreat, or other mechanisms. There’s also a (possibly incomplete) list of submarine volcanoes that later became new volcanic islands during the 20th and 21st century, but we could not find any islands near Japan that were formed in 1977. According to this website which documents all or as least most volcanic eruptions (including year, death toll, amount of damage, volcano type, volcanic explosivity index and country or region) 4 volcanic eruptions occurred in 1977, although the list could be incomplete. These were at Nyiragongo, Karthala, Krafla and Kliuchevskoi, the explosivity indexes are respectively small, non-explosive, small and moderate-large. We’ve already discussed the Mount Nyiragongo eruption in Zaire. For the Karthala eruption the death toll estimate is 1-50. There are no deaths for the Krafla eruption and only 1 death for the Kliuchesvskoi eruption. These numbers hardly match the prediction – “destroy/damage many thousands of human lives“.

The first verifiable publication is Semjase Kontakt Berichte, 1st ed. Block 14, 1979 though this information could have been published between 1976 and 1977 as individual pages. Since this cannot be proven, we have to consider 1979 as the time of the the first verifiable publication. Since this is 2 years after the predictions have been made and after allegedly predicted events occurred, even if there was very specific information in it, this publication still could not be considered as evidence for prediction.

88/ About the end of the present event, I alright can give you details, if you just keep silence until the early hours of the morning, as until then, the occurences have turned to be well again.

Of course, I will keep my mouth shut that long. – And apart from this, I likely will sleep during the morning hours.

89/ Surely; then listen now:
90/ The government of Germany has not remained inactive during all the last time, as was assumed generally throughout the world.
91/ Secretly comprizing plans were elaborated, but which only then can be realized, if silence of the strongest mode is kept about them, for which reason a strict stop of information got settled, which will be maintained until the early hours of the morning of the following night.
92/ Matter of fact is, the government of Germany having elaborated plans for freeing the kidnapped Lufthansa-airplane and will realize these during the following night and mid-night.
93/ The German government has namely educated for some time a special unit, soldiers of the so-called border protection (Grenzschutz), who interact in terrorist activities and should break the terror.
94/ A great part of this special unit is already staying at the place of the coming event, namely at Mogadishu, in Somalia, where at the local time of midnight they will exercise a surprise attack on the hijacked flight machine and will take possession of the machine.

This is very good news, but how will this matter then continue about the murder-mob in Germany, as they are kept in prison, and should have been freed by the kidnapping?

101/ Several of them will no more experience the day tomorrow, because the main ringleaders will fall to a liquidation, which will be steered from outside of the prison.
102/ Prison internal forces will perform that liquidation and show all in a way, like there would be offered a self-murdering, while in truth only two of those criminal elements will exercise such a try (suicide/note), about whose effect we do not yet have exact analyses.

As verse 88 points out, this information was not supposed to be shared with others before the kidnap was over and was intended for Meier only, which also means it cannot be used as evidence for prediction:

1) Already the turning of the year from 1977 to 1978 will be marked for mankind of planet Terra.  Evil events of human degeneration will appear, thus bloodshed, accidents in enormous numbers, criminal actions of a special type and beginnings of evil anarchistic terror acts.  But also nature will claim her victims, because enormous cold spells and hurricane-like storms from North and South will take many human lives.  Many human structures will be demolished and destroyed, whereby also much animal and plant life perishes.
2) The transition period to spring will not be as has been and as usual year after year, because during the year 1978, it will be combined with many uncontrollable events of nature of immense proportions. As winter will be hard and cold, the cold death will reach for Man of Earth and sink him into hard frozen ground.
3) Hot storms will often blow from the South during the year of 1978, announcing and bringing with it disaster and death, as it has never happened any time previously.  But also from the North a severe storm approaches, bringing cracking cold and often also destruction.  This is given for the course of several months of the year 1978.
4) Predictions are also given about destruction of seed and harvests in several nations of Earth for the year 1978, whereby also a few nations will get into financial difficulty regarding purchases of food from foreign countries.
5) The quakes of Earth continue, which ragingly will roll across the Earth.  Well known quake regions will tremble anew in the year 1978, partially much more severe than before.  Also the ‘Fault’ of San Francisco will shake vehemently, as also large regions in China, Japan, the Near East. But also Europe, Asia, America, Australia, New Zealand and the entire region of Oceania will not be spared, where also severest storms and floods will damage much and claim many human lives.
6) Predictable are several severe and average volcanic eruptions, by which also a respectable creation of a new volcano is included.
7) Severe oil catastrophes will be spoken about in the year of 1978, as also the fact, that again several oil tankers will shed their destructive contents on to the waters of the oceans.  Furthermore is given, that a large oil storage facility will catch fire and cause much harm.
8) In the world of politics, fear and terror will begin to reign, due to terrorism and anarchism, which the nation is guilty of committing itself to a great extent, as among the politicians death victims will be sought and found.  Not only will several assassination attempts on politicians be successful, but also due to coups, two national leaders will be killed, but also some of religious stature, whose hour for a violent end is already determined.
9) Israel together with Arabia climb the barricades, to be independent of each other, but in common objective to create an even greater unsolvable problem between themselves, while Israel’s leadership half-officially allies itself with the leadership of the Vatican, by which it prepares the beginning of the terror without recognizable end, although the life of the Israeli president already hovers on the shovel of death.
10) If America has announced the creation of a new terror weapon in the year 1977, yet Russia already creates something much more horrible, which will come to its completion during the year 1978.  A weapon, which will be much more destructive than that of the Americans, who only were able to present a neutron bomb.
11) As in the year 1977, so also in the year 1978, world air travel will be very severely hit, more than ever before, partially due to failure of technical installations and apparrati, partially due to human failure and nature’s influences, and partially due to anarchistic terror acts, whereby especially large air carriers will be destroyed and will claim very many human lives.
12) Against Germany a severe underground-political blow is being prepared, which the German government barely will be able to master, but which will be the fault of the government itself, when the evil event will take place.
13) The Swiss Army and Air Force will be marked in the year of 1978 by many accidents and losses, but also by several death cases, which all are to be booked to the accounts of presiding military leaders, whereby the fault, however, as a rule, will be pushed on to the subordinates.
14) The same will also be in several spy cases, which will be revealed in the year 1978 in Switzerland, about which the Swiss government will partially undertake concealment attempts, as well as regarding a scandal in the government administration, where also several position changes of leading heads will take place.
15) For the police throughout the world, as also in Switzerland, the time of total severity will begin, and more than ever they numbly will be confronted by criminality.  Brutal murders, as have never occurred in police history, will teach police officials to shudder.  Their insufficiency, steered by the nation, will often condemn them to inability in the fight against crime.
16) Not only evil happens in the year 1978, because it stays approximately in balance with the good, as this is the case on every planet in the course of evolution.  For example, the science of engineering, electronics, medicine and surgery produce very many new remedies and possibilities for the improved health of Man, but also for the relief of organic and bodily ailments.  A well known scientist discovers, at last, very important base elements to combat the hostage cancer, but also its prevention.  Basically, it will become known world wide, that different remedies used heretofore for cancer identification, promoted or even caused it, wherefore these current and very dangerous means will be discontinued in the future.
17) In the year 1978, a new comet will appear, which heads toward the SOL-system from the far reaches of space, which, however, will not be dangerous for Earth.
18) During the year 1978, the science of astronomy will make a totally new discovery, which conveys new perspectives and ways about knowledge and about the construction of the universe and all its stars.  But also in chemistry, physics and technic, as well as electronics unsuspected new knowledge through discoveries will appear, which from then on, slowly but surely, will change the entire world picture.
19) Aside from many national-political crises, the financial economy and industrial economy will suffer heavy losses, whereby new ways of the handling of government, the financial economy and industrial economy will have to be chosen.  Herewith Rome ranks first and in the year 1978, and is heading into the final stages of bankruptcy.
20) On a steep rise will be religious-sectarian doings, whereby also murder- and blood-deeds, based on religious-sectarian fanaticism will appear.  Also in preparation is that, due to religious-sectarian fanaticism, force of arms will be resorted to.
21) Evil war-like and revolutionary transgressions in different nations will lead to political crises during the year 1978.
22) As in the years of 1976 and 1977, also during the year 1978, Africa will be heard of, because there atrocities will be even more on the increase and shake the world.
23) The number of suicides rises rapidly in the year 1978, but also the psychic diseases, while different plagues reach for the life of mankind.

These are the most important general predictions of the year 1978, calculated in combined probability calculations, which have nothing to do with so-called clairvoyance and future-vision.  As in the case of prophecy, here also is mentioned, that future events are subject to change, if mankind changes for the better and in so doing changes the foreseen events.  But as a rule, Man of Earth does not make an effort to change for the better in the majority of its people, wherefore the rule proves that the predictions in form of combined probability calculations have to come true.  Furthermore, other matters are given according to evolution, as also conditioned due to the course of the universe, whereupon these can not be changed, however, can be circumvented due to any earthly or cosmic influences.  Man should always consider this, when he thinks about the predictions made, which are only a part of what the year 1978 will bring. Many more vents are still marked, but to speak about them would only be a waste of time, because Man of Earth will not pay attention to it to a reasonable degree.

As it will also leave him cold, that public transportation, like railroad and bus services etc., besides navigation and air travel, are much endangered and will claim many victims of human life, whereby even the vicious will of criminals will decisively take part in it.  And it will leave many people absolutely cold, that during the year 1978, a true wave of hijackings around the world will break out, which also will claim many victims.  The very smart ones will maintain, that this could have been foreseen.  Surely, it was and is foreseen, but only then, when one applies himself to these matters. But with this the smart know-alls sink again into the ocean of anonymity, because their assertions are not based on having truly known these coming events in advance, but only because they have read some such predictions, or have been orientated by the very happenings of events.  This type of people namely speak only about predictions, when as a rule, they are already given in writing or have already happened in reality.  Only then do they open their big mouth and claim, that all this they have already known in advance.  In truth, however, they know nothing and wait until certain proof lies at their feet, before they speak about it, because they are too cowardly, to be decried as phantacizers, and they always fear about their good reputation.  On the other hand, it also is much easier to maintain after the happened event, that one has known this in advance, than to announce the coming events already long before their occurrence.

Many super-smart ones rely on the stars and maintain, that these would bring this or that during the present or coming year for Man of Earth.  But how shall Man decipher these coming events from the stars, if the required knowledge thereto has long since been lost?  Knowing about the fears and terror of Earthman, I can not give myself permission to mention more details in the predictions, or even give names, nations and places.

Analysis:

Categorical or Probabilistic Claim?

Meier says that these 1978 predictions were “calculated in combined probability calculations”. So these do not have to occur with certainty, which makes them probabilistic claims.

Most of the predictions listed here are very general descriptions of events that happen often (statistically likely events) and could apply to almost any year. The reason for that is given in the last sentence:

Whatever the reason may be, even if it’s valid, if there are no specific claims that are testable, nothing can be proven. Out of 23 points, we have prepared a list of 27 predictions, and since most of them are general, we have selected a few that could either be testable or are simply interesting:

The life of the Israeli president already hovers on the shovel of death

In 1978 there 2 acting presidents and none of them died that year. Ephraim Katzir (died in 2009) was the fourth president of Israel, in office from 24 May 1973 – 24 May 1978, and Yitzhak Navon (still alive) was the fifth president, in office from 24 May 1978 – 5 May 1983. On December 8, 1978, Golda Meir (born 1898), the fourth Prime Minister of Israel, died but the prediction was about the death of the president and not the prime minister.

If America has announced the creation of a new terror weapon-Neutron bomb in the year 1977, then Russia already creates something much more horrible, which will come to its completion during the year 1978

Assuming the unofficial English translation is correct, the following article – What Is a Neutron Bomb? – on About.com shows that the USA had already have been developing a neutron bomb for 2 decades and added it their arsenal 3 years before the prediction of Meier:

“U.S. research on neutron bombs began in 1958 at the University of California’s Lawrence Radiation Laboratory under the direction of Edward Teller. News that a neutron bomb was under development was publically released in the early 1960s. It is thought that the first neutron bomb was built by scientists at the Lawrence Radiation Laboratory in 1963, and was tested underground 70 mi. north of Las Vegas, also in 1963. The first neutron bomb was added to the U.S. weapons arsenal in 1974. That bomb was designed by Samuel Cohen and was produced at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.”

A new comet heading toward the SOL-system from the far reaches of space, not dangerous for Earth, will appear

In 1978, out of a total of 41 comets that were observed, and some new comets were discovered. Some of them are Comet Machholz 1978l, 81P/Wild, D/1978 R1 (Haneda-Campos), Comet Seargent, Comet Fujikawa, Comet Bradfield & Comet Meier. Which one was Meier talking about?

Severe oil leakages on to the waters of the oceans; a large oil storage facility will catch fire and cause much harm

This chronological list of oil spills on Wikipedia contains oil spills that have occurred throughout the world and oils spills that are currently ongoing. As can be seen it happens quite often, although not every year. The number of oil spills per year between 1970 and 1980 are: 1970 (1), 1971 (2), 1972 (2), 1974 (1), 1975 (2), 1976 (3), 1977 (4), 1978 (2), 1979 (5), 1980 (2). This shows that an oil spill in year 1978 is statistically likely.

As in 1977 world air travel will also be severely hit in 1978 and claim many human lives

This List of accidents and incidents involving commercial aircraft on Wikipedia documents many accidents and incidents that involved commercial aircraft. Almost every year some accident or incident happened. The number of accidents or incidents per year between 1970 and 1980 is: 1970 (13), 1971 (13), 1972 (25), 1973 (18), 1974 (12), 1975 (11), 1976 (13), 1977 (15), 1978 (14), 1979 (16), 1980 (13). This is such a statistically likely event that it would have been far more impressive to correctly predict that no air travel accident or incident would happen in 1978.

So far we have analysed just 5 of the 27 predictions and showed that these predictions either didn’t fulfill or are statistically likely to be fulfilled. The rest of the 22 predictions are not any different; just like the 5 analyzed predictions they are very general, non-specific, open-ended and statistically likely.

But exactly these predictions were used by either Meier or a FIGU member (Prophetien, pg. 81, 1982 and Prophetien und Voraussagen, pg. 89, 1996) as evidence for Meier’s predictive ability. The following is from an unofficial English translation:

“Interim Information of the Predictions for the year 1978 given in June 1978:

During the month of December 1977, Billy established the predictions for the year 1978.  Since then, many of the predictions have come to pass with frightening precision and have confirmed that they were correct.  This quite contrary to the assertions of so-called clairvoyants, who up to now only on rarest occasions have been able to give correct predictions.  The question resulting therefrom, who in regard to the future knows more about the truth and knows it to a great extent, whether it is Billy or the so-called clairvoyants, is hardly necessary.  But perhaps due to this fact, one or the other seeking person will notice that Billy is not the fraud and charlatan, as some so gladly accuse him of and discredit him on radio- and television programs, in newspapers and magazines, in sect-circles and groups of know-it-alls, who believe they can coin themselves as great and knowing ones, when they recite sayings of Goethe and other deceased literary or philosophical great ones.  How poor are these people in truth, that of themselves they are not able to create wise sayings.

Points of the Predictions:

  1. Already the turn of the year brought very much trouble to Man and the Earth, even unusually much.  During only one third of the turning of the year period, no less than 34 catastrophes were registered in terms of earthquakes, violent storms, water torrents etc. etc., which has been statistically proven worldwide, and was recorded and registered.
  2. The transition period to spring was not as Man has been used to year after year, because it was marked by diverse and vile events of nature of partially immense proportions.  Many people died in snow and ice and found a grave in hard frozen ground.
  3. Hot South winds and ice storms swept in form South and North, bringing manifold losses, destruction, disaster and death.
  4. Terrible seed- and harvest destructions have already taken place (in this regard one only has to remember the billion-fold losses in Germany, which were caused by masses of water but presently also in Ethiopia, where due to a severe drought, about one million people are endangered of dying from starvation).
  5. Earthquake announcements are heard in great number, since the beginning of the year, and almost in uninterrupted sequence.  The same pertains to storm- and flood-announcements (note the last case in Europe – especially in Germany and Switzerland).
  6. Several volcanic eruptions have already occurred and been recorded, whereby a new volcano also has been created in Oceania.
  7. Many oil catastrophes have happened since the turn of the year, whereby the greatest oil catastrophe ever, along the French coast, may still be fresh in Man’s memory.
  8. In the world of politics, fear and terror have begun to reign and several politicians have already been murdered (remember the cases of Schleyer and Aldo Moro, which during this year will not be the only ones, whose lives already are forfeited).
  9. The first steps between Israel and the Vatican toward the predicted pact have already been taken, yet the Israelis and Arabs also created the beginning of the still more unsolvable problem.
  10. Still not officially confirmed.
  11. During the first six months of the year 1978 alone, world air travel has been heavily defeated and also suffered a considerable set back due to terror acts.
  12. The first steps toward the severe underground political blow against Germany have just been prepared in their beginnings, of which unofficial announcements are already being aired.
  13. Official confirmations also prove this prediction to be correct.

These 13 of 23 predictions given represent roughly half of all predictions given by Billy.  And of these 13 up to now, only one (Nr. 10) has not been officially confirmed yet, which however, is understandable, because from Russia information only flows sparingly to foreign nation.  12 additional predictions have been mentioned but while nothing about these is mentioned at this point in time that does not mean, they would not be correct.  For example, if only point 22 is considered.  How horribly this prediction has been confirmed, and again point 23, point 20, point 19.  All these predictions have come to pass with terrifying precision, and all still continue throughout the course of this year still spread their rippling effects.  Yet also the comet, mentioned in point 17, has been discovered by a North-German man.  Also point 15 has been found to be valid.  But never mind; to discuss this matter further is not necessary.

Now, again several super-intellectuals will appear and maintain that everything would have been predictable and everything fits exactly into the world picture.  Certainly that is exactly the case.  But before it is predictable, it has to be calculated.  And if especially these big-mouths would be able to do this, any discussion in this regard would probably be in vain.  Namely, if all would depend on a test in matters of predictions, which these big-mouths would have to submit to, they would spew in their misery and try to shirk away from it with all kinds of threadbare excuses.  But just so, every one can be a big mouth – even if nothing comes of it.”

Let us now analyse some of the above 13 claims.

Points of Predictions 1-5:

The global database on natural and technological disasters, EM-DAT contains essential core data on the occurrence and effects of more than 17,000 disasters in the world from 1900 to present. On this Natural Disaster Trends page there are simple graphs that show the number of disasters reported, the number of people reportedly killed and affected by natural disasters, estimated damages caused by reported natural disasters etc.; arranged according to different continents and disaster types from the year 1900 to 2011. The data shows that the occurrence of any natural disaster (ex: earthquakes, storms, floods, droughts etc.) in any year is a statistically highly likely event, so these predictions can be applicable to any year. Droughts and famines are common in underdeveloped nations across the world. Even though Meier never mentioned Ethiopia or any other nation specifically, the author picks up Ethiopia as an example of the fulfillment of the prediction. The drought in Ethiopia is not an unexpected event that happened unawares in the year 1978. Ethiopia has a history of severe droughts and famines that have affected millions of lives. We’ll stop here since the alleged predictions analysed so far were shown to be nothing but general, non-specific, open-ended, statistically likely or already known events and it is highly likely that the rest of the predictions fall into the same category. It is curious that these were used as evidence for the predictive abilities of Meier since there is no evidence available that shows this information was published before the events. But even if there was such evidence, the information is so general and non-specific, it would still not be strong evidence for prediction.
